Botswana
A place where wild creatures roam and rule, where big cats and much bigger elephants walk free.
Blessed with some of the greatest wildlife spectacles on earth, Botswana is one of the great safari destinations in Africa. There’s nowhere quite like the Okavango Delta on earth. This is a place where wild creatures roam and rule, where big cats and much bigger elephants walk free in one of the world’s last great wildernesses. The delta is a byword for abundance – for animal numbers, for the variety of species, for the birdlife, for floods of Biblical proportions. And it is also a place of singular and unparalleled beauty where safari possibilities can seem as endless as the waters themselves.
The Kalahari Desert, the largest unbroken stretch of sand on the planet, is not your ordinary desert. From the salt pans of Makgadikgadi, the baobabs of Nxai Pans, and the spare magnificence of Kubu Island in the north, to the wonderful wildlife of Kgalagadi in the south, this is a desert of exceptional variety. Throw in the fossil river valleys, swaying golden grasses, black-maned lions and the echoes of the indigenous San people in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve and there are few more beautiful deserts on Earth.
Culture
Tracking and Story Telling
The San people of Botswana preserve ancient tracking and storytelling traditions, while remote villages along the Delta offer insight into rural life lived in harmony with nature.
Geographic Diversity
From Deltas to Deserts
From Okavango’s floodplains to the dry Kalahari and shimmering salt pans of Makgadikgadi, Botswana’s landscapes transform dramatically with the rains, shaping both wildlife and human life.
Wildlife
Wild and Remote
Botswana is wild, remote, and spectacular—home to Africa’s densest elephant populations, elusive predators, and rare species like wild dogs, best seen in the Delta, Moremi, and Linyanti.
” Everything was perfect.
We were so happy — the horses and the rides were amazing and all my friends were super happy. We loved every minute of riding across the Okavango Delta; it was absolutely magical. The camp was beautiful, and the whole experience was unforgettable “

Featured botswana Experience
FROM THE OKAVANGO DELTA
to the Makgadikgadi Pans
Few adventures capture Botswana’s spirit like riding across the Okavango Delta and exploring the Makgadikgadi Pans. Canter through floodwaters between palm islands, watch elephants wade across the channels, and end each day around the fire beneath a sky thick with stars.
Then swap saddles for quads and race across the vast white pans, sleeping out under the open desert sky and visiting the curious meerkats at dawn. Wild, remote, and deeply unforgettable — this is Botswana at its best.
